VERSO /
volume 1 "Migrations"

June 2014 — June 2015

VERSO /’s first season was Versal’s coming back to its home city and community after many years of focusing its work abroad. As a new experiment with the possibilities of a “live literary journal”, VERSO /’s first season featured a range of local and international writers and artists around themes inspired by hobo signs, opening with “Hold Your Tongue”.

VERSO / is a platform for emerging and seasoned practitioners, forming new spaces for the performance of literature and bringing otherwise static art, philosophy, or research to a live experience. It is a safe, open, and intimate environment for people to experiment with new work, perform for the first time, and create community with one another.
