For my definition of matter is just this—the primary substratum of each thing, from which it comes to be without qualification, and which persists in the result. — Aristotle, Physics I
As matter we persist. We are matter before we breathe air. Then we are this body matter. Then we transform into another matter after it’s all over.
Or we begin in our grandmothers. We carry generations with us.
Or we are a mirror, or mirrored, an infinite simulation, infinite numbers of simulations of infinite new beginnings.
