Volume 2, Number 5: "Water"
Water: one of the four classical elements, dating from pre-Socratic times, and perhaps an appropriate totem for an Amsterdam literary night.
VERSO / is Amsterdam's live literary journal. Our March 6th number, "Water", is curated by Euan Monaghan, the editor of British literary magazine Structo. In this issue: fiction from Christine Stroik Stocke, poetry from Susan J. Nassuna and a screening of the short film The River Man followed by a Q&A with director Richard Gorodecky and cinematographer Doug Hancock.
Doors open at 7pm. Entrance is 5 euros*. Cash only!
The Semaphore Bookstore is open 7-10pm, featuring a range of local authors' books, second-hand treasures, and the last available copies of Versal's first eleven-year run.
