Meet my book with local writers Milla van der Have and Carolyn Chang

  • American Book Center 12 Spui Ámsterdam, NH, 1012 XA Netherlands

Presented by author Claudio Tapia and the ABC, in a quest to support the English writing scene in The Netherlands, - published and yet to be published - authors get a chance to talk about and read from their books or manuscripts.

On 16 November, Milla van der Have and Carolyn Chang will present their work. About the authors:

Milla: she grew up in Heusden, The Netherlands. She wrote her first poem at 16 during a physics class and has been at it ever since. Milla started writing in Dutch but changed to English in 2008. She writes poems and short stories and is currently working on a novel.

Carolyn: in addition to being author of her debut SF/YA novel, Offworlder 1: The Boy from Cell Town, Carolyn has had four science fiction short stories published in anthologies. Born in Wisconsin, the cheese state of the USA, Carolyn has lived in Michigan and New York City prior to moving to Amsterdam where she enjoys being part of the local Amsterdam lit scene.
