The very popular Crossing Border Festival will be back in The Hague from November 13-16 hosting great authors and musicians from around the globe.
Music & literature mix at Crossing Border
Crossing Border has carved out a niche for itself in the increasingly crowded festival scene by creating a balance between literature and pop music. With both a dense day and night programme, authors, book presentations, interviews and Q&A sessions are usually the focus of the daytime, while the night looks to highlight break through acts in music.
Certainly one of the more intellectual festivals to be found in the Netherlands, Crossing Border deserves a special mention for the work they put into arranging the literature portion of their programme.
It will be held in The Hague on November 13 till 16. The fesival offers a range of beautiful literature. On Friday the 14th of November Henry Marsh, one of Britain’s most outstanding neurosurgeons, will be interviewed.
On Saturday November 15th a special day programme features Ian McEwan and Joanna Rakoff. Joanna Rakoff wrote a fascinating novel regarding the years she was an assistant at J. D. Salinger's legendary literary agency. Ian McEwan will be interviewed about his book The Daydreamer.
