Introducing Our Amazing Interns

Versal is proud to announce that we have two new interns helping us with our day-to-day tasks. These superstars are Franziska Schütz out of Germany, and María Goirigolzarri from Spain.

Franziska Schütz joined us back in June. She is a 21 year-old student who is now splitting her time as a freelance illustrator and intern here in Amsterdam. Franziska is handling most of the duties of The Semaphore Library, and helping us to grow beyond our current bookshelves. Her main interests are art, old horror stories, coffee, and anything odd.

María Goirigolzarri is a Spanish Cultural Economist who recently received her Master Degree from the Erasmus University. Although she's worked as an auditor, her real interests are in the (dirty) secrets of the publishing industry. When she can't find any excuses not to, she writes short stories. Her story Tic Tac Tic Tac was included in an anthology of new writers published by the School of Writers of Madrid. Maria currently lives in Rotterdam.

Check out their websites and say hello.
